Relax and unwind, in one of our two original Victorian Huts!
The huts have no TV, or electrics, (but each hut has it’s own wash room). What you will have is the peace and quiet of the Norfolk countryside with views of our sheep (subject to season) in a parkland setting.
THE SHEPHERD’S REST
Open the stable door, climb the ladder and step back in time.
This Victorian Norfolk Shepherd’s hut is the real deal, authentically decorated with crook and bells and lambing crate and stove to provide a unique experience. Insulated throughout using natural sheep’s wool, with a 4ft x 6ft 3 double bed! Nearby the posh wash chalet with your own modern shower, loo and basin. Cooking facilities are in the Campers’ kitchen (see below)
THE GAMEKEEPER’S HUT
A rural bliss in North Norfolk.
Get transported back in time to a slower pace of life. Fall asleep watching the stars (but not a poacher in site!) This wonderful old Gamekeeper’s hut, once a woodland shelter on the noble estates has been lovingly updated to provide the authentic Glamping experience. A 4ft x 6ft 3 double bed, old fishing tackle, photos and wooden decoy ducks. A woodburner to warm toes before bed time. The nearby posh wash chalet with your own modern shower and toilet facilities. Cooking is in the Campers’ kitchen (see below)
THE CAMPERS’ KITCHEN
The rustic barn makes a great space to eat, cook or get together!
Now you can cook, eat and get together with fellow ‘Glampers’ in this large indoor barn. The rustic kitchen is complete with fridge, kettle, toaster and a huge stone sink. Lamp shades are made from old milking pails and there is a large table for dining or a game of cards after a walk back from the village pub! The huts are self catering but there will be milk, tea, coffee, sugar and cooking oil supplied along with a welcome tray of home made biscuits/cake on arrival.
